The UK Dementia Research Institute (UK DRI) at King's College London are seeking to appoint two research associates to carry out an interesting and challenging project in Structural Biology.
The UK DRI is embedded within the Department of Basic and Clinical Neuroscience. Funded by the Medical Research Council, Alzheimer's Society and Alzheimer's Research UK, the UK DRI is a national consortium focused on cutting-edge dementia research. The post-holders will be involved in developing a project in Structural Biology of neurodegeneration research as part of a wider network of centres. The roles will involve an integrated biological approach based on molecular biology, protein biochemistry, enzymology, spectroscopic, synthetic biology, crystallography and/or NMR and/or cryo-EM methodologies with the aim of understanding the role of specific target proteins in neurodegeneration and dementia.
