Remote access to services and technologies will be part of the new reality for all re-search infrastructures (RIs), both for the continuation of the Covid-19 crisis, but also beyond that in the context of reduction of travel-related carbon emissions. Remote access to physical machinery brings with it a vast number of challenges, to which the RIs and their service providers need to adapt.
Instruct, together with Euro-BioImaging, is organising a one day “Exchange of Experience” workshop on the 14th of April to address these challenges. The aim of this workshop is for members from different RIs to share ideas, best practise examples and common struggles regarding the set-up of remote access and remote user training.
